Visiting Port Douglas is an adventure in itself. From the historic districts to the rainforest, everything stops and takes a breath.

Even when you’re not looking, there’s always something that catches your eye. Whether it be world class dining or a relaxed beach barbecue, this place does it all.

Port Douglas is a haven for adventures and we can’t wait to show you our EPIC Port Douglas Fitcation program this October.

Tips on what to pack:

1. Fitness

4x sets of workout gear as a minimum.
Best to bring 2 pairs of shoes – one old pair for muddy conditions.

2. Yoga

Comfortable stretch pants and t-shirt or singlet.

3. Walks & Treks

Workout gear works best. Bring gear, including sports shoes that you don’t mind getting wet and dirty at times.

4. Shoes

We spend a lot of time outdoors, so pack suitable sandals or thongs. Preferably bring 2 pairs of sports shoes as this allows time for one pair to dry if necessary. Old shoes are best!

5. Everyday

Lightweight, casual clothes for the tropics.

Light long sleeve t-shirts and pants for the surprisingly cool evenings/early mornings.

Sleep in whatever is comfortable for cool nights.

Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent – it’s the tropics!

6. Kayak

It can be very cool when you start, but you will soon be warm. Wear layers.

A nylon wind jacket or a jumper is a good idea.

7. Bits & Pieces

    • Reusable shopping bag or daypack is a good idea to help avoid plastic bags if you go shopping.
    • Pack the camera. Check the Battery before you leave.
    • There will be some time to relax, so bring a book or some magazines.
    • Wi-Fi is available at the Accommodation.
